I expect all agencies to work towards improving the quality of life in this country. That includes looking to the future and making reasonable judgements regarding what will best serve the country in coming years .where major infrastructure is involved as in the case with Manston it is crucial that not only is best consideration given to making the best of appropriate development opportunities but that care is given to avoid overlooking resources that are inexistence.

If it is likely that additional aircraft movements would meet forthcoming needs then this is scenario that would increase wealth and improve the quality of Life. Where Manston falls in an area that is able to meet an appropriate segment of this need it should have major concideration. For increased aircraft use we need airspace, whilst most aircraft have, at some point to join in congested air space this does not exist arrownd Manston making aircraft movements easy, safe and able to accommodate almost limitless expansion of use should the need arise. That space and potential connections will enable Manston to forward freight and passengers by road, rail and sea with maximum potential for drones and other driverless means of delivering.

In addition to local people who would benefit from employment provided there is exceptionally good rail transport to facilitate staff getting there. This is all part of the collective resources that come together at Manston and do not have to be built here or anywhere else in order to have a major facility that will go towards meeting the country's future needs.
