how many times would you put your hand in a fire before you realise it will burn you so you do not do it again, well this old airfield which was OK as a WW2 airfield but now too far from anyone to be of any use or a proper large operator would come in for it is done we have flogged the dead horse enough let it rest as a happy memory. give us skilled jobs, give us mixed use, give us a new direction and hope for an area which has previously been blighted by this old airfield, give this area a future for its young and unemployed that is not a polluting noisy airfield which had its best days 50 years ago and will never be a viable business as a commercial or cargo hub due to distance of travel of goods and limited catchment of passengers, this is common sence and been written in reports several times. do not make this grave error, night flights would also kill the area which is historic and enjoyed by visitors.
