Facts. I live in Nethercourt district of Ramsgate, the last area before the runway. aircraft used to be no more than 400feet maximum above our homes all across Ramsgate. these were aircraft which mostly were not allowed to land elsewhere. properties vibrate, windows rattle under load of take off or landing. the pollution, noise and air is beyond what is considered reasonable elsewhere. all previous independent reports into the sustainable viability of the airport at this location has condemned it as a non runner on a good day. there are no less than 6 schools under and directly adjacent to the flight path along with 80.000 residents. this will effect the young, working and retired in the area detrimentally if night flights are allowed at all, putting huge pressure on the already over stretched NHS, Effecting peoples health through sleep deprivation which was used as torture in the past. kids schooling will be effected, and peoples ability to function at work safely. pollution from trucks carrying cargo from here to distribution centres 80 miles away will place strain on the roads and air quality. more better quality jobs to be had as a mixed use development, homes and industrial, not airport.
