Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Anna Bitelli-Charles. I am writing on behalf of my Husband and myself as we live at [Redacted] We have lived in Ramsgate for 10 years. I am a nurse and my husband is a carer. We live on the fight path of the airport and when there were fights before closure we were very disturbed by the noise level. I am writing asking you to consider the very considerable noise disturbance when you consider a decision for a cargo airport and night flights. My past experience is that Planes flew very low over the house, so as you could see very closely the underneath of the aeroplanes. They were landing and taking off. I would have to stop what ever I was doing until the plane passed. If I was talking on the phone; I had to end the conversation or wait for the plane to pass as you couldn't hear the person on the phone. This was very frequent throughout the day and even at night. There was a vibration throughout the house with this. Manston Airport would regularly have training days were it was inpossible to remain at home due to the noise level. I would write to Manston airport and ring them to ask them to simply let us know about training so as we could be out if possible. They never replied and we were helpless. We were lead to believe that there was no night flights but there was, as the noise and vibration would wake us in the night. We didn't know the area in any way when we came to Ramsgate to work. We were never told about the disturbance and our visit was suprisingly always arranged when there was no flight. We had to live with it and I became very ill. We were just going to move when the airport closed and it all stopped and everything is different including the plants in the backyard which became healthier as well as myself. I ask you to consider the impact of the noise and vibration when weighing up everything before making a decision. With many thanks for you attention, Yours faithfully, Anna Bitelli-Charles
