I refer to Riveroak Strategic Partners documents TR020002-0022457-73 section 4.11 "Movements" and TR020002-002458-73 section 6.03 "Road Typologies". I do not believe that the Applicant has considered the wider traffic implications and in particular the risk of transporting large volumes of aviation fuel to the new airport. My understanding is that the Applicant is planning 17100 air traffic movements. The planning documents submitted provide no detail modelling but it is quite plausible that with larger aircraft deliveries of up to 2,000,000 litres of fuel could be required per day or 50-60 road tankers daily. There is no local fuel refining capacity so these movements will impact Kent as a whole. The applicant should provide more detailed traffic modelling and risk assessment.
