As a lifetime resident of Thanet that know resides in Ramsgate I want to express that I am totally against the reopening of Manston Airport in any form other than for use by vintage aircraft. The current proposals by RSP to reopen the airport for use by cargo aircraft and some passenger flights are damaging for the local area in a number of different ways. These will include the following: 1.Huge amount of air and noise pollution causing irreversible environmental damage. 2.Short term and long term adverse effects to local residents health, both physical and mental. 3.Significant noise day and night effecting quality of life for local residents which will also ave a negative effect on tourism across the whole of Thanet.

The negative impact of reopening the airport and the voices and opinions of local residents against the RSP regressive plans cannot be and should not be overlooked or ignored.
