I'd like to put forward my representation because there has been a parallel process of public consultation and the DCO application.

I have my concerns that the public consultation did not adequately demonstrate a health impact assessment or clarify the funding for the proposed airport business. These two aspects are crucial facets to consider because of the 'Strategic National Interest' this project is touted to have as its major flux for the DCO.

Should a DCO proceed any further it must have considered and openly informed the local community of the potential detrimental opportunity costs (loss and gains) which are not trivial. I have listed these for the sake of brevity:

Health Impact: Night Flights - volume and frequency, times, distribution along flight paths, ?chartered and scheduled. Noise - will there be realistic compensation policies for those affected. What levels qualifies compensation and who will judge any appeals? Pollution - projected path of air pollution levels.

Safety: Have Public Safety Zones been considered considering the flight path.

The Economy: Impact assessment on tourism in Ramsgate & Herne Bay? Broader Environmental impacts biodiversity implications. Business projections - have any exaggerated employment forecasts for the aiport's employment been scrutinized? What are the net loss and gains to the local community?

Thank you.
