After reading the proposals from R.S.P for the reopening of Manston Airport, I would like to let you know that I fully support the application for a D.C.O. There are several reasons but I think the most important one is that Thanet really needs the extra jobs that will be created by the Airport being redeveloped, not just within the Airport but the knock on effect, I feel, could bring other companies to the area. I note that R.S.P are also going to incorporate training that will give the youngsters some hope of getting a good job with prospect which at the moment is lacking here in Thanet. I am also pleased to see that they are going to retain and support our museums and therefore help to maintain the history of the 2nd W.W and the many lives that were lost, this is very important to many people In Thanet and the rest of Kent.
