I am of the opinion that this Cargo Hub will be a unique asset to the area of the East Kent Region that could inject a much needed influx of employment This area has one of the highest poverty levels in the United Kingdom and this is an opportunity not only to undo some of that. But also protect an aviation area of historic importance considering the role played by RAF Manston During WW2 and the Battle of Britain.
The economic benefit will be felt across the whole of the south east region with an impending brexit looming this could provide massive relief to freight capacity from the Port of Dover, Sheerness and London.
With the pre-existing long runway capable of landing every Aircraft in the world it would be an appalling waste of resources to not utilize this asset
