I truly believe the airport would be advantageous to the whole area.We desperately need more jobs especially for the young.It would open the area of Thanet globally both through freight usage and passenger usage.Often Thanet feels cut off from the rest of Kent.The reopening of the airport would be beneficial not only to the local area but to the rest of Kent.I know those living near the airport object mainly because of noise but I am sure the times of flying could be negotiated with the owners.I am sure more tourists and business people would use the airport.We need more money in the area to improve other services.
