Vattenfall has invested £3Bn in UK energy over the last 8 years and we are keen to continue that investment. ?The opportunity to be part of this project validated our decision to enter the UK market, where we have secured an IDNO License and established a market-leading team to build our service offering in the IDNO market and most recently established a foothold in the burgeoning electric mobility market with a new group delivering our innovative e-mobility solutions to UK consumers. ?
As Vattenfall, we have market-leading experience in distribution networks operations around Europe. Such experience is based on our strategy to build long term partnerships which stand the test of time.
Our network operation teams bring with them the knowledge of managing 3.2 million customers annually. Every year, 86 TWh’s of electricity passes along 170,000 km of cable, all under operation and control of Vattenfall.
As experienced infrastructure investors, we have realistic long-term expectations for the returns in the UK market and are comfortable with risks associated with uncertainty of build out and occupancy. We will deliver to EP national standards which exceed the customer care guidelines and we will bring a regulated market mindset to customer protection in the UK. ?
