I believe Manston is vital post Brexit to the UK and our ability to trade with the world. It would be short sighted to lose an infrastructure asset like Manston.
When you look at the trouble and delay in extending Heathrow it is very frustrating to see Manston lying unused.
Also with the need to cut car journeys it would be a huge saving if Manston could take passengers saving a journey to Gatwick, Heathrow etc.
The jobs that would be brought to Thanet along with the investment outweighs the extra houses which only create a demand for jobs and invrstment.
Manston now has excellent road links and has better roads than Dover our major port. The roads to dover in places are single track.
