Noise and safety of surrounding areas I was living here when the 'airport' was operational for cargo service and the flow of what looked like old, noisy and dangerous aircraft constantly threatening the environment of the area was a constant distressful experience On one occasion a 747 landed so badly that it dislodged some of the cornice in my lounge I called the airport and no further response was received! Please do not let a constant 24/7 'airport' exist as this is, at this point in time, a lovely quiet, safe area.
