We are hearing that more air capacity is needed all the time (Heathrow) Once this airport has gone and built houses on it, it cannot be put back Any locals moaning about noise should have thought about that when buying near an airport. after all, it use to have Military jets! Thanet does not support the infrastructure for more population, such as schools, hospital and especially traffic congestion. The jobs created by the housing development are temporary, whereas an airport would be permanent and growing Most of the housing would also only serve people mainly from London who want investment properties or Holiday homes, just as in South West England
