New resident (3 years) committed to town, financially, and it is now my home.
Civic matters of great interest to me. Manston plans of crucial importance to the area.
Riveroak prsentations in 2017 and 2018 showed me that
a) investors unlikely (read the glossy 2 volume application at Ramsgate Library).
b) no solid company interested in running the airport (see above)
c) no demand for increased air freight nationwide(see LTransport reports among others)
d)Ramsgate too far away to be in Heathrow 'hub' :- various reports
e)road infrastructure limited and vulnerable to adverse traffic conditions
Ramsgate's real attractions are to tourists:-
a)historic sites on land and harbour
b)natural beauty of built environment
c)sites of natural and scientific interest on land and coastal marine areas
