I do not want a cargo hub at Manston because the flight path will be near me and the pollution will cover an even wider area

I am opposed to the re-opening of Manston for use as a cargo freight hub for the following reasons: The noise and frequency of the planes will damage the quality of life for people in Ramsgate both in terms of mental and physical health and air quality Numerous studies have shown that the noise will have a particularly detrimental effect on local children's education Having noisy dirty planes flying over Ramsgate will damage the area's appeal as a tourist destination If Manston, a brownfield site, is not used for building the much needed 2,500 homes then they will have to be allocated elsewhere including on Grade1 farmland The spoken commitment to no night flights is contradicted by RSP's DCO application There is no real evidence that this project is financially viable or will bring many jobs to the area (much of the work involved is likely to be mechanised) If QC4 planes are deemed too noisy for London airports why are they being considered Having planes flying low over the numerous Grade2 listed buildings will have a detrimental effect on them
