Manston DCO - Register as an Interested Party Sion House is a block containing six flats occupied by mainly retirees. It lies directly under the flight path of aircraft approaching Manston Airport from the east. The prevailing wind is from the west and therefor most aircraft arrivals will be from the east. We have experience of aircraft arriving from from the east when previous operators used the airport. Every one of these arrivals interrupted our sleep.

Every approach from the east will pass over Sion House at between 750 and 800 feet above Sion House causing unacceptable disturbance to all of the residents. Even with all the widows closed our sleep will be difficult on warm nights. With the windows open sleep will be impossible.

The Company RSP has applied for unlimited night flights. Should this planning application be granted our properties will suffer a severe drop in value and will probably be unsellable. Who would buy flat here under these conditions.

We have a right to a decent night's sleep. Most of the residents here are in their 70ies and 80ies and need a good nights rest.

We must strongly object to this planning application on the grounds of the effect it will have on our wellbeing, health and finances
