Heritage Shortage of runway space in southern england capable of dealing with aircraft of lge size. The problems at Heathrow could be reduced with a large proportion of their freight coming to manston.Emergency landing facilities for any aircraft in trouble.Of course with Brexit coming and global trade we need airports of this kind.To rip up this aready made facility would be shocking and could never be replaced.
