The reopening of Manston Airport will be deleterious to the Isle of Thanet as the infrastructure of access roads is inadequate tourism which is vital to the area will be threatened and reduced air and noise quality will be poor environmental damage experienced by nearby schools will harm school children there is no evidence that there is a need for cargo flights in Kent flights will be harmful to local residents especially night flights employment opportunities for local residents are likely to be minimal reduction in house prices
