The Planning Inspectorate RE Manston Airport
I write to add my full support for the revival of this airport not only for the employment it will bring but also as a much-needed catalyst for inward investment for ancillary manufacturing and services not just for Thanet but Kent, the Medway towns, and into SE London
Apart form the airport, Ramsgate has a port that can support Ferries it is obvious that there would be a natural synergy between them that would fill the gap between Dunkirk and the Hook of Holland reducing the road mileage for the haulers.
This is a once in a lifetime chance to get this area into a prosperous and thriving part of Kent and boosting the economy of this very pleasant area; and I appeal to you to give a green light.
