Dear Sirs,
I have lived in Ramsgate for the last 21 years, and I remember the airport when it was open, under the MOD and as a domemestic airport. I am directly under the flight path, and the noise of the planes was very loud. Although the old airport was not used very often I do feel that more regular flights pruposed for Manston will be unbearable. During the summer months, I let a room through Airbnb for summer visitors, I do feel that the constant noise and air polution caused by this aiport will put visitors off of coming to Ramsgate. I would like you to look into the effect of the airport on tourism in this area, an area which has high unemployment and depravation and will not be benefiting from from the development.
