My Concern is having an airport running 24/7 will impact my quality of life and all people around us having lived near Gatwick I know what this can be like. Significant noise day and night will mean sleeping will be an issue, value of property near the airport will drop. I’m concerned about the pollution implications for local wildlife wish is something very special in Acol. My husband and I are very much against the idea of a 24/7 cargo airport too much traffic through acol already I hate to think what it would be like with lorries trundling through day and night. Traffic calming has done very little to reduce people speeding through the village having lorries with no respect for the local area isn’t something I want to see so for all those reasons I do not want a cargo airport on our doorstep.
