I wish to register as an "interested party" as I am in agreement with the proposal to use Manston Airport for freight traffic. I feel it will bring much needed jobs to the area and also provide the UK with an excellent alternative route for freight to and from the EU post Brexit. This will have the major advantage of reducing freight traffic at UK Ports if we are not part of the Customs Union.
