I have been living at this address for the last 17 years and during these years, I have experienced cargo planes and commercial planes coming to Manston airport. The noise level and gasoline pollution level of the cargo planes going over my house were very bad because of the location of my house (I am on the flight path in St Lawrence area where the planes prepare to land as Manston airport is a short distance to St Lawrence area). There were some cargo planes flying early in the morning (5h30-6h00) and also late at night (23h30-24h00). Some car alarms went off when the cargo planes passed over when coming to Manston airport and when the cargo planes were taking off from Manston airport, we could hear the roar of the engines. In addition, I could feel the cargo planes vibrations. After being woken up by the cargo planes noises and the car alarms, I struggled to go back to sleep and to get up early to go to work the following morning. Moreover, I noticed that I was not very relaxed after a night sleep and did not concentrate very well at work, therefore I do not want to experience that again if a cargo airport is developed at Manston airport site. According to the proposal there is a potential of 46 cargo flights a day to 250 a day to go over my house and I cannot imagine how my sleep level will be when there will be so many planes going over.
