I am very concerned about RSP's proposals to acquire a DCO to re-open Manston Airport as a Cargo Hub.
Ramsgate is not a suitable area for heavy planes with its many listed properties many built over 200 years ago.
Noisy planes will severely disturb young children's education in this condensed area.
Night flights would interfere with the Regeneration of Ramsgate it so badly needs.
Visiting Yachtsmen to Ramsgate Royal Harbour who bring revenue into the area will stop visiting!
The DOT does not predict and growth in freight flights so why is another cargo airport needed?
