Dear Sir What a wonderful opportunity for this part of Kent to have a company so adamant on having the old Manston airport opened up again to bring much needed employment to a very bad area for jobs. If this airport can be brought back to life it will obviously bring an enormous employment to this area. If the DCO is not obtained that will mean hundreds of houses being built on the sight. Will that bring employment to this area. The local Thanet District Council has already announced areas elsewhere where these houses can be built. A spanking new airport will in time bring thousands of jobs to the area. Ramsgate ferry port is close by and surely this could relieve Dover of some of the congestion there and as Manston is to be a Freight airport this could somehow be in tow with the ferry port.
