I live directly in line of the flight path. I am very concerned with the disturbance and pollution that will be inflicted on my family and myself. The noise and pollution will make life intolerable for the people of Ramsgate and surrounding areas. I believe it will ruin our seaside town. I do not think it will create large amounts of jobs as it never has before. We have had airlines try to make a go of the airport but it always fails. The health threat alone should be enough to stop this awful idea. We have just seen in the press recently that pollution is one of the major factors of dementia. Thanet is a deprived area with poor health, we do not need or want more health problems with air pollution. Many schools will struggle with the noise levels whilst trying to teach classes.
Our area is crying out for housing for the local population. Affordable homes and not on farmland. We need farmland for supplying food.
