• Once in a lifetime opportunity for the whole area which would never be possible in the future if other options were to be pursued with the site • Best utilisation of an existing infrastructure facility • Investment in Infrastructure • Private not public investment = no tax payer implications • Acquisition already of existing adjacent premises for an improved airport fuel-farm • Air Cargo levels increasing • Regeneration of the area • High local unemployment levels need job creation • Job Creation – various across the board including STEM ones • Education & Training • Current deprivation of the area is worrying • Continued protection of the Thanet Aquifer • Air quality in the vicinity • Traffic movement & levels – airport provides best option • Huge local support for RSP, little local support for others
