I have in recent years become virtually housebound because of illness and disability. Currently my environment is what I need- peaceful and quiet. Any change in this will inevitably lead to a decline in my health. I remember the flights we used to endure with planes so low that noise and vibration was repeated several times a day. Closure of Manston improved quality of life. Now that I need it the most the prospect alone of losing that is unsettling. If night flights in particular are introduced I will find life unbearable I will then be left with little option but to try and sell my property (at a time when prospect alone will inevitably depress house prices). I will then be losing my friends and support network at a time in my life when I need them most. No an inviting future.
