Manston airport, this is the one true project that can rejuvenate the Thanet area that has been in decline for many years . When you look at the housing proposal t will generate short term employment for national building companies, then flood the Thanet workforce by thousands at a time when their unemployment no’s are high already , saying that new companies will move into the site is rubbish as there are large amounts of development land available in north Kent already. Thanet needs an air and brexit needs a hub for thethe extra flights bringing bulk goods from around the world. This airport would have the ability to save an area of Kent and solve a problem of landings and takeoffs at London airports . With the continuing increase in passenger volume year on year another airport that primarily deals with freight is a good thing for both Thanet and the country.thanks .
