The successive financial and operational failure of many previous attempts over the years to provide passenger and cargo services on the old Manston airport site. The lack of meaningful, ongoing and understandable consultation by RSP with all communities living under the flight path. My previous experience, day and night, of living under the flight path - relating to noise, air pollution, interrupted sleep, old cargo aircraft, threats to health, children's education, general wellbeing and way of life etc. - and the greater effect in all these areas, plus transport congestion, that RSP's proposals will generate with the numbers of flights envisaged. My full support for the present owners' plans to develop the Manston site for much needed residential, business and recreational purposes. The related actions of Thanet District Council regarding this matter.
