We in Thanet need jobs. Manston would provide these much needed positions both within the Airport and externally. Cargo planes would help releive the larger Airports Gatwick Heathrow therefore creating more passenger flights for these. The future generation need to have work here in Thanet as we are one of the most deprived areas in Britain. Passenger flights would benefit this area also the journey on the motorways to main Airports is horrendous.
Thanet needs Manston Airport which will provide jobs for this deprived area. We do not need more houses as suggested on the site the Schools, Doctors, Hospital are under tremendous pressure. The airport will transform this area into a prosperous place áñd generate opportunities for skilled workers and apprentices.
