*The desperate shortage of runway capacity in SEKent and the unique opportunity a state-of-the-art Manston Airport will provide for freight and passenger capacity.
What I feel for Manston as someone who was born and grew up under the flight path during the USAF and RAF years and the love and pride that I and >90% of the people of E Kent have for OUR Airport.
The desperate need that our area of the country has for jobs because it has the highest unemployment in E Kent. Our upgraded Airport will provide training and decent jobs for our young people and will bring much-needed business into E Kent.
