I'm an interested party because I believe Manston is an asset of national importance and must be preserved for aviation purposes. It's well-known that the airport's management under previous ownership was abysmal; for instance, flying to far too many destinations when it should have restricted itself to two money-making destinations that the hoi polloi like, e g Spain and Greece. Once those routes had been established, then other routes could have been added. Having followed Riveroak's road shows, literature and pronouncements over the years I believe Riveroak has the nous and careful approach to make Manston a glorious success. In the post-Brexit world the UK will be trading on an even more global basis; we will need the extra freight capacity that an operational Manston will afford. Please, please grant the application for the country's sake.
