Airport facility needed for easy movement of freight for trade post Brexit to overseas markets. Already Channel ports are unable to cater for the present demand.

Airport services will attract businesses to the area and facilitate current local business enterprise.

There is a Business Park adjacent to the airport, with room for extension.

Road and rail links in place with possibilities for extensions.

An airport would offer Employment opportunities in an area needing work and training openings for the adult population.

Students attending Educational establishments in Kent previously used the airport to travel to Schools and Universities in the area, thus avoiding the London Hub. Easy access to these institutions will help to maintain student numbers and future expansion.

International students and students from the United Kingdom, who attend local residential Schools and Universities, contribute to the local economy.

Passenger travel, as well as freight carriage, would be welcome, attracting further revenue to Manston Airport, and subsequently relieving traffic volume on motorways to the Airports at Gatwick and Heathrow.

Yours sincerely, Jennifer Stevens
