. Maintaining national heritage . bringing permanent jobs . East-Kent hub for flights + freight . any other building development (housing ect.) would have a very negative impact on local infrastructure
Manston Airport is part of our national eritage and should be maintained as such. Keeping Manston Aiport would be a source of permanent jobs and would act as a usual hub for East Kent residents to fly to tourist destinations without clogging the roads with traffic + polluting the atmosphere by driving to other far-flung airports. Any alternative use of the loud (through speculative large-scale building developments) would seriously impact on local infrastructure (local schools, roads, medical facilities ect. traffic congestion, pollution ect.) already badly stretched in East Kent especially Thanet.
