Manston as a cargo hub is situated too close to Ramsgate which is an area of touristic and architectural interest. It would cause the demise of the tourist industry and greatly have a detrimental affect on the people who live under the flight path (which I do). I am concerned about pollutants and the affect on health and noise from night flights. When the cargo planes were operational in 2014 I could almost wave hello to the pilot, they flew so close to my house and the noise was horrendous. My house is grade 2 listed, I have single pane sash Windows which I am not allowed to change. This is the case for hundreds of listed houses in the area. The airport has never been viable, I oppose the opening of Manston as a Cargo hub.
