I am concerned about the re-opening of Manston airport. My concern is as follows,as I have grandchildren at a local school in the town of Ramsgate it is known that the noise and pollution from large aircraft flying only 300 ft. above does adversely affect childrens education. In the past it has been reported that Clarendon house grammar school has had their lessons regularly disrupted by landing aircraft. Also where I live I have been disturbed by the vortex and fumes whilst in my garden from landing airliners only 300ft above my house. Also the vortex has occasionally damaged roofs of houses on the nearby Nethercourt estate. It is my concern that the Manston Green housing and school development, Planning ref.OL/TH/14/0050, which is backed by a grant from the Government will be cancelled if this DCO is allowed.
