I am writing to you as I am against a cargo airport at Manston.
The prospect of large (polluting) aircraft flying low over Ramsgate worries me and I wish to make you aware of this. I am directly under the flight path and will suffer from the effects of noise and air pollution.
With the prospect of broken sleep from night flights I am concerned that this will have an adverse affect on my health. I take medication for high blood pressure and an important part of staying healthy is to sleep well. The applicants have stated that there will be night flights and this will have an adverse effect on local people.
I am also worried that these aircraft will be flying low and increasing air pollution, further harming my health. These effects have been well documented so please would you consider the health of the local population as this must outweigh any potential benefits to the region or country.
