I wish to register as an interested party as I live under the flight path of the proposed development at the old Manston airport site. I am primarily concerned about the environmental impact as I already have experience of how the noise makes our house vibrate and the lights from cargo planes shone in our window as they landed at night. This only happened occasionally in the past but I feel it would be awful for everyone living here if this was allowed to happen constantly. I was not made aware by our house survey that we were in a flight path years ago when we moved here. It was a blight even then with the old airport with smaller planes. I was excited by the development proposals of the current UK owners and cannot understand why anyone would allow US developers with no experience of running an airport seize the land for themselves and pollute our area.
