Thanet is an area that is deprived in so many ways ... jobs, opportunities, resources, hope. The reinstatement of Manston as an airport would provide all of these to local people.
Manston airport is of enormous historical and strategic importance particularly after we leave the EU. The UK needs airport and runway space - we have a ready made one in Manston it makes no sense to destroy it.
