I am writing to register my objection and concerns regarding the application from RSP.

Noise impact assessments are unsatisfactory and have overlooked multiple local factors, not exclusive to factors such as types or uses of buildings.

Noise impact on educational establishments seems to be downplayed. As a former pupil of Clarendon House Grammar School for Girls, I am aware of the noise disruption on lessons. I opted to send my sons to schools outside of Thanet in the Sandwich area in 2010 and 2012, which were not under the flight path of what was then an operational airport.

Tourism is the bread and butter of Thanet, and the tourism generated local economy has rapidly increased since the airport closed in 2014.

The much purported skilled jobs and training are vague, lacking details or intended educational framework plans with recognized establishments.

Road infrastructure is unlikely to cope. Frequent accidents along the main dual carriageway route to the site, resulting in closure of the main route, results in traffic diversions through very narrow village streets and lanes in Minster and Monkton.
