i have lived in this area over 30 years, during which time, at any time the airport has been operational, I have not ever been troubled by aircraft noise, or by any traffic created by it. While I totally understand that the RSP proposal is just for cargo flight traffic, I would truly hope that one day, passenger flights could begin again. I strongly believe that RSP should be given the opportunity, hugely supported by local residents and by our own MP. If this site should be used for housing, that is it,over, at a time when more flight capacity is required. I strongly feel that to allow Stone Hill Park to develop at the level they are proposing, will create huge strain on our public services, already stretched by increased development, will create significant traffic (pollution) that would cause further harm and destruction to the countryside and air quality in our daily lives. As for the more local residents who complain of disturbance, I myself have been camping,in a tent, on frequent occasions, under both Heathrow and Gatwick flight paths, and have not been disturbed by substantially more flights than that proposed at Manston. Southend was also at risk once, but is now a thriving regional airport
