As a resident of Ramsgate, I am extremely concerned about the effects reopening of Manston as a working cargo airport will have on the local population and environment and wish to raise the following areas of concern in my representation: I am concerned that there will be significant noise both day and night; There will be a significant risk to health day and night; There will be a huge decline in the local population's quality of life; There will be a significant increase in pollution and environmental damage, not just in the local area but more signicantly through the inevitable implementation of transport networks that will carry freight from Manston to other network hubs; There will be loss of valuable income generated by tourism and associated growth areas;
