RE: Registering as an Interested Party in respect of Manston Airport DCO.
I am a resident of Ramsgate and I will object to RiverOak's proposal to re-open Manston as a commercial freight airport. I think the proposal that Manston could ever be commercially viable as an airport of any type has been evidenced as impossible. I am very concerned about the damage to the mental health and well-being of Ramsgate residents plus thousands of those who live in surrounding villages and wards. Any development of this nature will continually damage the environment, will not provide high quality sustainable jobs for local people and will create disruption to the sleep / restful family time for thousands of people living in this region.
I look forward to when the negative impacts of this proposal are locally, regionally and nationally acknowledged so that it can be rejected.
