I feel that Manston airport does not represent an ideal answer to the movement of freight into and out of this country, situated as it is at an extreme distance from most areas of commerce and industry with poor road and rail ( the front entrance is fed by a country road). Heavy transport would soon block it, passing as it does through a the village and the A299 which goes past on the wrong side thus bypassing the airport completely. All night and day flights passing over the expanding towns under the flight path will cause great risk to health, sleep deprivation etc, in short, who will want to live here I fear that my life will be dangerousely affected. All this for the sake of a few hundred jobs does not compare with the current plans on the table, which are imaginative, forward looking, and is exactly what Thanet needs. This airport is not needed many have tried and failed.

thank you..
