To Whome it may concern, I totally support the reopening of Manston airport as a freight cargo hub and possibility of passenger traffic at a later date, I work in the travel industry and see first hand what development in an airport does to the local economy both through direct jobs and indirect through various services, regional airports are growing in the uk and the business I work in invests heavily (Dufry) one of the worlds largest travel retailer and have just opened a store in Norwich airport as KLM serve there with 3 daily flights to Amsterdam and then connecting to the world this can happen again at Manston and I will use the service regularly as I did in the past, also in a post Brexit Britain we will need extra capacity for freight from new markets futher afield, East Midlands is currently a major cargo hub and can’t wait for another to open on my doorstep and give fantastic well paid jobs in an area with very high unemployment
