I am in full support of Kent International Airport, as it will provide a valuable economy boost to the local area with expansion of local and national businesses as the stock for the business will provide a bigger profit margin due to the lower transport costs in which will grow the businesses and then in return will provide more jobs.
The Airport will also provide much needed jobs to the area too.
The dual carriageways around and leading to the airport provide excellent transport links without congesting the small local roads.
A housing development would not benefit the area as it would produce let's say roughly an additional 20,000 cars to the local area roads, and the current infrastructure would NOT be able to cope with the additional traffic. Therefore the airport is the most viable option for the area.
