The Manston airport hub is not benifical to Ramsgate or Thanet as a whole. It can onl be disprutive to the whole community in a place which is growing by the year into a thriving tourism and small busines ventures which brings both employment for the young and old.
The airport project will not create the jobs promised and seems to be set up to simply buy the land cheap and sell at a later day for great profit. I feel the land would benifit housing which is greatly needed here as it is all over the country and a key pledge of the goverment. This is a great time to put that promise into action Also the lower flying aircraft will cause great distubance to all who lay under it with night flights causing great proplems for everyone who lives here. The amount of frieght coming into Ramsgate which already has great problems with the amount of traffic would be astranomical and destroy a thriving place.
