Please allow Manston to continue as an airport. This will free other major areas like Heathrow and Gatwick from work which can be achieved at Manston such as freight traffic and aircraft repairs. After Brexit there is the possibility of more air freight coming and going between countries. Manston has one of the longest runways in the country. Concorde and other larger aeroplanes have visited proving that Manston has the ability to be very useful to this countries aeronautical needs. During the Olympics Manston was used for the reception of horses from abroad.
I believe it would be a benefit to this country to keep Manston Airport, especially after so much public money has been spent on improving the access roads, instead of having to cover the countryside elsewhere in more concrete which is what the future seems to hold. .
